For ten years, The Barber Shop in Santa Barbara has been more than just a place to get a haircut. It has been a space where conversations happen, friendships are built, and tradition lives on through every cut, shave, and handshake.
What started in 2016 a vision has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. Through every season, every challenge, and every milestone, one thing has remained constant, our commitment to quality, community, and the craft.
From One Chair to a Community Landmark
Our journey began at 432 State Street, where we opened our doors with a simple goal, to bring back the timeless barbershop experience. One year later, we moved to 1233 State Street, where we spent the next nine years building something special with all of you.
Every client who sat in our chair, every conversation shared, and every moment inside these walls helped shape who we are today.
This isn’t just our story, it’s yours too.

As we celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary, we’re also closing a meaningful chapter.
We’re inviting you to join us for one final gathering at our current location before we step into what’s next.

5PM – 9PM
An evening of fresh cuts, good people, classic energy, drinks, music, and most importantly, community.
This night is about celebrating everything we’ve built together and honoring the memories that live within these walls.

While we say goodbye to 1233 State Street, we’re excited for what’s ahead.
The next chapter of The Barber Shop is already in motion, with a new location coming soon in the 400 Block.
This move represents growth, evolution, and a continued commitment to delivering the experience you’ve come to expect, elevated in every way.
